Hi guys its little miss novice again!

Quick questions...

If my mare is ridden in a jointed eggbut snaffle (when she was ridden!) and for any jumping/fast work was in a snaffle/ cheltenham gag, which driving bit should I start her in?

Also she is 15hh cob but not overly stocky, she wears a full size bridle but is on the tightest hole on it all, would she need a cob or full size harness? I was thinking she would need a cob as most driving cobs are chunky and I was guessing full size is for big beasties like friesians!

Thanks in advance :)

My boy hacks in a twisted snaffle, hunts in a cheltenham gag and drives in a liverpool. There are so many options on the liverpool that you can move the rein down if you need more brakes.

I would get a full size harness as they normally have a lot of adjustment. I had a cob one on a 14.2hh and the breeching only just went round her bum.

Maybe a wilsons snaffle as you can adjust it as well.

You will need a cob size harness and I would recommend you use either a standard Liverpool or an Army Reversible/Military bit.

oh dear god! lol

I think I'll measure her and speak to the seller of any harness I find for sizing!!

still very confused about the bits mind you!!
