I'm not totally into parelli as I've seen good and bad but the Arab x we have had since december is totally tuned into it so we now use the driving game to get him into a stable and in from the field and through puddles all of which used to take 2 or 3 of us to accomplish before we realised the easier and most rewarding route. I now ride him in a rope halter and sometimes his bitless bridle he also now has a lovely treeless and I ride him barback too. What my question is is how do you get then to move forward while riding with a saddle? Do. I need to do more ground work ? Or is it that he is being stubborn? When he first came leading out he would just hide behind you now he has a lot more confidence and tells me where he wants to go if you have any experience in this area plz help x
