Calling all those in Cornwall and surrounds, advice

Hi everyone,
I might be moving to Cornwall for work related reasons.
But ofcourse the first thing I thought of, was the neds.
Is there a good horsey scene in Cornwall??
Whats the pluses and negatives ?
And the weather?, probably better than here in Scotland!!!

i,ve lived in cornwall for 23yrs and i wouldnt live anywhere else , we have a really good unnaffiliated scene down here , lots of local shows , hunter trials and odes , we also have i believe a really good endurance set up but i dont compete in those , then theres beach rides in the winter , bit blowwy but a great way to excersise a horse , only downside is the lack of affiliated odes , only one venue in cornwall , the hacking is lovely i find most drivers are very courteous , thats about it i think , oh yes the weather , well it snows less and rains more , we are awash at mo

wonder whether you knew of any fields in the area, need something to accomodate 5 horses!!

Ditto everything that Maggiehorse said! you can usually find an event to go to every weekend easily! And yes the weather is very much mostly rain - but on the odd occasion when it is sunny - its beautiful! :)
