I've decided to have a go at some workers classes now that my little horse has finally matured a bit!

My first question is as he's not a full connie (Connemara X ISH), can he do M&M workers or not - as it's my understanding that he has to be plaited but I've recently been told differently?

Here's a recent pic of him - Ridden

Also as a non-showing person, I'd be grateful for any tips on turnout or way of going that the judges like to see in the ring. Thanks :D

No he can't do m&m workers as he isn't a purebred Connie.

Yes he needs to be plaited. You should wear a tweed jacket, shirt, tie and cream/Canary jods with long black boots. Brown gloves.

Your jumping round should be flowing and at a good forwards canter. No showjumpy chipping in strides etc.
Your individual show should include a walk trot and canter on each rein and a good gallop on one rein. In workers you need a damn good gallop not just a lengthened canter
