My horse has the operation a month ago and im just kinda wondering what i should be expecting. I have been walking him 3 times a day and hes been suprisingly well behaved! The thing is im not sure hes really using his back when hes walking round he still seems abit stiff Is that normal? I have another month of box rest and walking 4 times a day ahead of me. See i want to know is he still feeling sore from the op or is he just afraid of using his back coz he thinks its going to hurt

hes just abit stiff from being on box rest
Im just not sure what i should be seeing. Do you see a bigger difference once you start lunging. And how long does it take the incisions made through the muscle to heal will it be healed now? afetr a month. The swellings gone down but hes doesnt like me touching it
How easy would it be if we could just talk horse!
