Is the income from your horse's sharer theoretically declarable to HMRC? And if not, why not? Is it classed as covering expenses or something?

Sorry if it is a really dumb question...:o
 
Thank you, that's what I thought. I'm certainly not making a profit (if only!) ;)

But wasn't sure if it constituted 'income' or not.

I will put it straight back out of my mind!
 
I feel I should put in a disclaimer that I am no financial whizz...but I would be very surprised if I found out that you had to...and I imagine an awful lot of people who have sharers would also be! :p
 
Thank you! I only thought about it the other night....but once I thought of it I couldn't let go until I checked! I know a girl who has got into bother with HMRC over doing jobs for people for cash, and I know that is completely different, but wasn't sure how much!
