Of course, anyone else can help me too!
I think I have found my towing vehicle but I just want to check with the expert that it's up to the job.
I have a richardson supreme ultra (unladen 1100kg) and I will be putting big pony in it (at least 900kg could be as much as 975kg). I also want the option to put another smaller horse in (max 600kg) on the rare occasion to go to a fun ride.
The vehicle I have chosen is a 2002 Mitsubishi Shogun LWB 3.2 Di-D. Is it safely capable to at least take Big Pony? And put a friend in too?
TIA x

2002 Mitsubishi Shogun LWB 3.2 Di-D
Towing capacity 3300 kgs

richardson supreme ultra
Unladen 1100
MAM 2700

LOAD 975 + 600 but lets be safe and say 1600 plus 1100 unladen trailer weight = total of 2700

All ok on a B+E licence (not a B licence)

If both in trailer then watch not much more goes into it because it could be tight on the max 2700 MAM

the 3300 car towing capacity is no problem

PS - you could have asked this in the HHO towing clinic - link below in my signature
