Hi all,
I brought some Allen and page calm and condition today for my mare. Was just wondering what it should look like once it is ready to feed? Followed the instructions etc but about 7 years ago my friend used it for her pony and what mine looked like tonight didn't look like how it did back then. Not sure if she made it right or if different brands come out slightly different etc,
Can someone please tell me what it's supposed to look like please?
Thankyou.

I put a full scoop in a black water bucket then fill the bucket and that does three feeds for the day for the TB. I also make the same up in power and performance which does three feeds that day.

He gets it with top spec conditioning flakes and Alfalfa! And it's helping pop the weight back on him :)

It's sloppy but not too watery :)

Thankyou. How I remember it 7 years ago was almost like browny watery poo lol.
What I made tonight was grey, and literally a bit like a cement mix? I followed the instructions carefully, but just wanted to know If I put enough water in? I added a bit more tonight to the mix cuz I thought it look a little, well like cement.
Will it hurt if I put a bit too much water in something like this? I don't want her getting colic?
