ok tonight brought them both in murph was being cheekie playing with rope and happy - fed them both them went to do some rag worting & chatted. went to do last check and jesus - big lad had left his tea at back of box distressed eyes manic heaving for breath- i went in in stable saw throat solid and swollen and lad gulping ( only way to describe ) and looking as if going to go down on phone to vets and pummeling and massaging throat at same time - by time vet got there we - me rubbing and my lad coughing - had dislodged what had been stuck and now - after injections etc - hes settled and happy - but as I drove home i started to shake uncontrably - seeing my lad like that suddenly hit me - was so awful but only hit me after - at time i just got in there. for once i will say thank god for ragwort as i would have left and omg what will i have found tomorrow morning - lol hes ok but have cried - im so soft lol
 
Sounds like a very distressing situation, thank god you did go back and check him & glad he's okay! Don't worry I would have cried too! Probably would have slept in his stable all night too... :p
 
been back and a friend on yard going back at 12 then me at 3 to check all ok - im so calm at time always have been - working at HAPPA taught you how to be calm - but driving home i just crumbled lol sobbed to my daughter and fella and ffs hes ok lol im such a muppet lol :)
