I know calmer discussions have been done loads of times before but I am at a total stumbling block and desperate for help. My lovely Irish lad used to be safe as houses/ calm as anything to hack and now I cant get him down the road without him snorting like a dragon. Been going on a while now and as yet haven't been able to solve it and he has been fully checked over by vet. Works well in the school/ in field at home. Its almost like he has suddenly lost his nerve out hacking though I am not sure what has caused this. I am continuing to do all the normal - hacking with a calm buddy, short regular hacks out, ridden by my trainer etc. I wonder if anyone can recommend a calmer for hacking issues. He has previously reacted well to a tryptophan calmer which I used just for show outings. I have put him on Good As Gold for last two weeks which is predominantly that but I cant see any difference. Any recommendations? As I say he is fine at home/ to handle etc its just out hacking...all suggestions welcome as I really hope someone can help.
