Hi,
TB coming off box rest - vet wants collected walk - horse wants his version of passage (ie not the sort that is going to get 10 in a dressage test!) I don't want him to injure himself again before I have a chance to get him fit and so was hoping some of you could recommend a calmer that you have seen work on a TB. I know that some work quicker than others and clearly a quick reaction at least to take the edge off initially is key here.
Your suggestions very gratefully received! Thanks very much in advance

The only instant calmer that works on my TB mare is NAF Magic paste - but it does very nearly send her to sleep... (sedalin has no affect on her at all  )

Realx Me (Horse First), I have used it with effect and you can give them a decent amount of it. They were extremely helpful on the phone when I enquired via their website (irish company). One of the directors actually rang me to give me more information about the product and company.

Another vote for Temprelax...my WB had a year in the box with 6 months controlled work we only had one tantrum in all that time & it was the day I thought I wouldn't bother with the calmer - ooops! It is expensive but worth its weight in gold! Good luck & sit tight!!!
