calmers...magnitude

Hi all i am looking for a calmer and i have read magnitude is the best one and very cheap. Just wondered what peoples experiences were like with and and if it is worth getting

I used Magnesium Oxide, a few on our yard use it and has had some positive effects!

I take it you mean the equine america magnitude , I've used it to calm my spooky horse but I changed his food ( took him off calm and condition ) and he just went to laid back mode all on his own , so i took him off it , i do have a friend who feeds it to her pure bred arab mare who is very hormonal and she says it works a treat..

Whether it'll work in your instance will depend on whether your horse's normal diet is already deficient in magnesium. If your horse is getting ample magnesium already, it wont really help.

hes fed on a total high fibre diet as he has had stomach ulcers
