I've just discovered this bit having never heard of it before. It seems to work well when schooling my strong but very fussy mouthed horse.

However I was told today that it is a strong bit. No bit has to be strong in the right hands and I have no doubt that my horse would make it very clear if she didn't approve of it because she's sensitive in the mouth.

Does anyone else use this bit? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Its funny as it seems like a really contentious marmite bit! I did not find it strong at all for my mare. It is a thin mouth piece but a fat mouth piece isn't kind if you have a big fat tongue is it!

I am really pleased to have discovered a bit that we both feel happy with. I am rather surprised that it's not dressage legal seeing that it is still a snaffle.

i use one on my welsh d and he goes AMAZINGLY in it! is it not dressage legal then? :( he is so much softer, lighter and rounder- and more forward with it too, which is something we have struggled with :) he isnt strong or even heavy in his normal ns starter bit, bit the difference in him is insane!
