my mother tonight has finally agreed that if i get a videocamera she will use it to video me.
i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. i havent got a lot of money to spend on it so i would like a cheap one that is good quality but simple so not at all flash and easy to use!!!

I got this one for XMas, I love it. Everyone who has used it says how easy it was to get to grips with, and the quality is good

I can't believe how much the prices have come down since we bought ours - about 5 years ago was over £500!!!

That Sony one looks nice and solid, with not too many buttons, and looks like a good price.

I would recommend amazon for that sort of thing, my SLR came from them before Xmas, v good service and quick delivery.

Good luck with the purchase (and with training your mother)!

Def get one - o/h tapes my lessons & we watch them afterwards. It's really, really helpful cos what you *feel* is going on often isn't at all what *IS* going on. The times I've thought in lessons, ffs, why on earth do you keep telling me to do X when I'm *already* doing X. Then afterwards we watch it & I realise that in fact I was doing totally the opposite without realising it!

You will get twice as much out of your lessons if you watch them again afterwards - it will really help you to join the dots. Also, if you re-watch an old lesson, you can see what progress you've made.
