my mother tonight has finally agreed that if i get a videocamera she will use it to video me.
i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. i havent got a lot of money to spend on it so i would like a cheap one that is good quality but simple so not at all flash and easy to use!!!

Is this any good from QVC ... it sounded brilliant when they demonstrated it and you have a 30 day money back option

I'd go along with the video camcorder with the DV format similar to the one for sale at Argos. It has a great Optical Zoom of x30 which will get you in close & the quality of picture will be good. Digital zoom is no where near as good & will pixelate giving a poor picture quality on zoom.

The DV format are easy to upload & edit on Windows Movie Marker via Firewire. You can edit, add captions, music, effects etc & then either upload to the web, copy to DVD or download it back to the camcorder.

As you can gather I use a Cannon with DV format & I get good results. It's fun, a great way of capturing shows & also a great aid to training & schooling....go for it!
