I would like to get a digital cameral that is simple to use & not too expensive with video mode that i can take reasonable jumping pics ,only amateur use & idiot proof !
I bought my daughter the Nikon 1J1 for her Christmas. Not had a lot of opportunity to use it so far as action shots in indoor school are never going to be good unless you have an SLR and good lens and manually set it.
However indoor non action shots are good and the video is amazing. Hopefully when we get outside in the better weather the jumping shots will be good.
It also nice and compact and came with two lens, although that was a kit from jessops so not sure if you can get it anywhere else.
