Sorry If this has already been done 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm looking for a camera to put on the outside of my field shelter.
I was looking at Reolink but have seen many negative reviews so now I'm a bit dubious.

I have been recommended Xega and Igeek cameras but I have no experience with any of these so no idea what they are like.

Any suggestions/recommendations welcome 😁

Don't get one...they are so addictive and time wasting..;)
Seriously, i have a cheap one (can't remember the make) but my problem was the mobile network to use as the area has poor reception. 'We' (my OH) spent more time finding the best, and cheapest, provider than he did the camera but i still pay a lot more monthly, than a lot of others on here.

I’ve got Reolink and igeek and the igeek one is far better value for money. Mines a wifi one and runs on solar. It’s just done 4 weeks without having the solar panel plugged in at all, so the battery is excellent. My Reolink only does a few days. I would say the Reolink is better if you want movement notifications, which I do as it’s in my gateway, but for just looking when you want to the igeek is great. I don’t know about their customer service as it hasn’t gone wrong yet, but I bought from Amazon who I’m confident would be easier to deal with than Reolink! I did eventually get a replacement Reolink when mine stopped working due to damp getting in, but it took many pointless emails pointing out the obvious to me before that happened.

The picture is clear, but I’d say the Reolink is clearer over a longer distance (my field is an acre square). if you don’t need it to go that far, or to be able to see small details the igeek one is fine. The night vision is good on both.

I have 2 Reolink ones, have had them 5+ years, no major issues and Reolink are super helpful and swift to respond if you do have anything go wrong.
