I'm toying with the idea of buying some Camrosa for Daisy to try and get hair regrowth on some bald patches she has on her back following some insect bites. Anyone had any success with getting hair regrowth a long time after the initial problem?

Do I really need to get the ointment remover? Surely it just soaks into the skin? Some of the bald patches are on her back and I need to be able to ride her 6 days a week for her fitness but I don't want to be faffing with taking the ointment off every time I have to ride her.

Anyone got any before and after pictures for a similar case? The ones on the website look very impressive but its difficult to know if you can trust the ones they put up.

I have used it on a sarcoid and its worked really well, have significantly reduced it from about 2cm diameter to almost nothing in a month and a half. Still using though. Not used it for hair regrowth but would def try it.

You do need the remover as it doesnt come off with water as is water based.

I used Camrosa on my eventer who had really bad sweetitch, it was amazing! It really cleared up the skin and the mane and tail both grew back beautifully. You only need to use the remover if you intend to use it on mane and tails because it is a bu**er to get out, very very greasy, but if it is only going to be used on small area's, then i'd say don't bother with it. Hope this helps

Hiya,

I'm currently using camrosa on my mare - a couple of the areas I'm using it on are under her saddle - I just make sure the numnah is as clean as poss and reapply the ointment after I ride. I think I'm going to have to throw the numnah away at the end though as the ointment is so sticky it doesn't really come out completely in the wash. Seems to be working okay, but we're not at the hair-regrowing stage yet!
