Can a horse be too wide?

I know this sounds odd but my horse is very broad across the chest and rib cage, I'm used to it now but I was wondering are there any effects of riding a wide horse long term? she's 15h and nearly 12 inches in between her front legs, whereas I'm 5'1 and nothing between my front legs. Just thinking out loud I suppose...

how many legs do you have if you have front legs?!

i dont think there is anything really wrong with it... if you had hip problems then maybe it would cause a problem but other than that i cant think of an issue
