He has been turned out to grass since about 8am this morning, we have about 2" of snow on the ground and it is -2. He has got hay in the field but prefers snuffling for grass.
I brought him in about 40 mins ago and have given him a feed, haynet and bucket of water but he isn't interested in any of them. The feed was made up of Dengie, warm beetpulp and pasture mix. He ate a small amount of this.
He is stood in his stable scraping the floor, his head hanging low, he keeps wrinkling his top lip up (like they do when something tastes funny) and he keeps crossing his jaw over. He isn't showing any signs of colic.
Do you think his nose had got very cold and now he has got hot aches in it?!
