.........a really good, trustworthy schooling livery for my baby girl?
I am thinking of sending my baby girl Emma for some schooling livery as I don't have facilities here, ground either frozen or like a mud pit. She is 5yrs now and done virtually nothing due to my illness but thought it would do her good to be professionally schooled and to see some of the big wide world but need to know that where I send her has a good reputation.
Any suggestions and experience would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Anita

I know of a guy Southport way. He isn't a 'name' as such but has (still does I think) competed at HOYS doing WH as a rider, not an owner. He has also BSJA'd his horse.
His yard isn't the poshest but he has an indoor so they are worked daily, sometimes twice daily if necessary. He advocates little and often for some youngsters, depending on their mental state.

My previous horse was very spooky and he had him for 6 weeks to sort of re-break/school and he did a fab job with him. He also hacked him out, to get him used to traffic.
My friend also took a very sharp mare to him for breaking and I was pretty impressed with the way he dealt with her.

He is a small guy and I would say rides in a very gentle way and has a lovely manner with the horses. He certainly got the measure of my horse and did a great job with him.
