Can anyone else see this, or am I cracking up?

You're not cracking up (at least not for this reason) - you posted last at 2:21pm but the page listing the threads isn't picking it up. I had a hard time posting my thread today so I wonder if there are gremlins in the system today (undocked gremlins I would hope ).

If you are cracking slightly you can always blame it on your fright night with the GSD!!

Have taken to copying my posts on the keyboard just before I post them, it's part of my anger management therapy as they keep disappearing and making me irrational.
