managed to get on the wrong side of a locked door??? So far my best guess is that it must have been a poltergeist, so I need some more logical suggestions
I've been house and dog sitting all this week and I let the three dogs out into the securely fenced stable yard first thing this morning while I had my breakfast, and left the back door open so they could come back in if they wanted. The younger two came back in fairly quickly and I assumed that the older one had too, but when I got ready to take them for a walk, I couldn't find her. I had a look in her favourite sleeping spots and finally found her when I walked back into the kitchen and found her outside the kitchen door, looking in. To get there she would have had to get out of the stable yard and go round the house, but I can't work out how! The yard is securely fenced so at first I thought maybe I'd left one of the gates ajar, but when I checked they were both shut tight and it seems very odd that she would get out but the younger two wouldn't go with her. She can't have jumped out - she struggles to get on the sofa as it is, she gets her front legs on then I have to lift her back legs on for her! I can't see any gaps in the fencing and I'm sure I would have known if someone had been and let her out, because the dogs make a right racket if anyone turns up at the house.
It's had me scratching my head all morning!
Suggestions please!
