Can anyone help? Fencing Costs?

Hi All,

Just wonder if I could pick the forums brains again?

Got an option on a rented property with land that I need to make a decision on quickly - Can anyone help with an estimated cost of either post and railing or stock fencing - Ive phoned a few contractors but all gone to answerphone.

Its just over 2 acres so if anyone could give me a ball park per acre for any type of fencing I would forever been in your debt.

we are paying £3250 for 200m of 3 rail post and rail this month.

that is one side of approx 2.5 acres. fortunately 2 sides are hedge and th3 third side is the back of the stables and yard!

Thats very OTT should be £10/M tops for decent Post and rail how many quotes did you get?

3 and that was the cheapest!

that is square posts and flat rails not rounds and half rounds.

we are cheshire so everything seems ££££££££££ but this is less than we paid in leics!

I have just paid £7650 + VAT for 486m 3 rail post and rail. That was 15.74 per metre. That too was the best quote I had but I am in Surrey!
