Can Anyone Help me? Getting to shows/hacking out?

Hiya, I am having real problems with trasport for my horse and I.

I am looking for someone to share lifts with, or borrow a horsebox from, so that I can go to shows and events.

Ive been riding for 9 years, and only got to a handful of competitions, mainly just 'fun rides' as the only person i know who can give me lifts about only really does them.

I really want to get competeing, I have had my Morgan, Bach for 2 years and really want to take him out more.

I thought I'd post on here and see if anyone live near me and could help, or if anyone has any advice as to how i should try and get the word out. I am going to put an ad. in the local shop, any other ideas?

Also I'm looking for someone to just hack out locally with...

My horse is kept in Kintbury, near Newbury, Berks.

can't really help I'm afraid, but in a similar sitaution so can sympathise. Hiring boxes is just sooo expensive, especially on your own! Hope you get it sorted. Have you advertised in local tack shops, feed merchants?
