It is our show this Sunday - 7 rings

We have a new venue where it will be more spread out. Just realised we will not be able to make do with helpers.
Anyone want a nice day out near Lincoln? Volunteers wanted for Stewarding the show classes, jump judgeing and whatever jobs need doing at a show.
I have just been let down by 'friends'

I should have expected it.
Volunteers only i am afraid as we cannot pay anyone. Volunteers can choose what they want to do and swap around so they don't get bored.
Any offers?

why don't you try the local radio? got to be worth a try.
i'll see if i can organise being away from here on sunday, and get back to you.
are you still doing the dog show? can ring a relative of mine who lives up that way, see if she fancies helping etc?

We are too far away to help, but would it be worth contacting your local Riding Clubs and seeing if they have any volunteers to help you. It is a bit late but could your local Scout/Guide troup help out with running between rings to give the stewards a bit of slck?

There has only been 1 riding club that has been helpful. The one we are in wasn't interested - well refused. Odd people around here.
The scouts and guides is a good idea thankyou. I will get in touch now.

Thanks Kao. I am in such a panic as it has grown soooo big. I have rung a few groups but it is too short notice. I have made a note for if ever i have a touch of such madness again

Thats a good idea. We have the room now for stalls. There is actually a local group that raises money for charity. they raised for us last year. I could ask them.
