Can anyone help rehome this mare?

Reading the advert, it sounds like she might be very old or have a major health issue. Maybe putting down would be best for her, if shes unsaleable (as i assume, or they wudnt be putting an ad like this and mentioning rescue) she could get taken from sale to sale and go from unsuitable home to unsuitable home,

No mention of height or age etc. Sadly, the biting would put me off greatly. It must be bad to mention it. I hope she finds a good home, she does look a nice sort.

Mare looks lovely. I would wonder if there's some underlying issue as to why she's been out of work, but the advert sounds pretty genuine. I would hate to be in that situation :( Hope she finds someone suitable.

It looks perfectly genuine to me. Why be honest about the biting yet not declare health issues? I'm sure if there were any other issues she would say so. What would she have to gain from holding information back anyway, as she's not looking for money?

Another victim of relationship break-up, combined with recession, probably.

Shame.

Poor horse and poor owner. I expect another victim of the recession. Hope someone lovely takes her, and very responsible of the owner to look for a good home or pts rather than send to the sales :(

I actually sent this lady a message telling her we were discussing her advert and not to give up on rehoming her mare. I got a lovely message back to say she had been inundated with responses and that she was now going to chose the best home possible for her mare and to say a big thank you to us for this thread :o

That's nice. I have also emailed a couple of people who I think may be interested. But sounds like she may have enough to choose from now.
