We have recenty lost our parson jack russel- she was an absolute superstar in everyway. We really liked her breed and temperament but can't seem to find any for sale anywhere- has anyone got any ideas? The breeder we got her from has stopped breeding, have tried preloved and gum tree, would either like a puppy or youngster- must be a bitch and would love smooth coated and long legged thanks anyone

Gumtree and Preloved I would avoid like the plague. It's not the best place to buy a puppy.

Contact the breed club and ask for recommended breeders who health test their breeding stock

Defiantly use the breed club then breeders will be bound by their code of ethics

Most breeds have a dedicated rehoming/rescue for dogs that need new homes, try and goole or facebook etc to see if the is one for PJR.

Recently found rescue for for yorkshire terriers when a member of my family was looking for a YT by using goole.

Have you done a search on the KC webpage? It tells you breeders and puppies for sale. Please don't support those selling on gumtree...usually puppy mills and uncaring bulk breeders.
