Can anyone identify this cob from the GYS?

Visited the Great Yorkshire Show on the Wed and snapped some quick pics of the maxi cob class. I've absolutely fallen for one of the horses but have no way to identify them! I'd love to see if they have an Instagram or something so I can see more pics ?

Really random I know, sorry, but I've been trying to track them down with no luck!

It was a massive class and I didn't get to see it all, so no idea if they placed. I can't find any entry lists or even any official photos so I'm feeling a bit stuck! (and normally I'm good at finding stuff!)

Mrs D Harrod from Pontefract West Yorkshire had number 677 a grey gelding in the heavyweight cob class, and in the maxi cob class had 691and 692 both grey geldings and 693 a piebald gelding, the rider looks the same though I dont think the horses are, grey on top of tail seems different, try her name on f- book or go to GYS results webpage as the picture from f shows it has a red rosette so it may be her name winning the heavyweight class

Harrods and Coles family sponsored the lightweight and large cob classes and the Leeman family sponsored the maxi class, according to GYS results Harrods 677 Randlestown Cromwell an 8 yr old won the large class, and Harrods 692 Bohera Durrow Fred a 9yr old was 4th in the maxi class. You will see other pics of them on the Coles show team f-book page, maybe not owned by them only shown by them.( they own Cromwell)

on FB there’s mention of being unplaced in the maxis with The Commander but didn’t have time to go searching to see what that one looked like.

edited to add it looks like that one is the coloured one and the one the OP liked maybe Fred

I know I'm being a bit thick but are the two horses pictured in this thread the same horse?
[screams of 'you blithering idiot' from the crowd]
Yes, I know the second one's profile looks very different, but I know how photos can make things look a little different... so... just wondering...

The winner, and 2nd-4th in the other pic.

The chestnut may look the slimmest of the fatties in this pic but that's just in this pic)

Oh dear... ?. Poor horses.

Showing learns nothing, it is rotten to the core.
*cough* please don't tar all sections of showing from this one section of obese fatstock.

There have been plenty of decent size and fit condition horses and ponies throughout the HOYS classes, from WHP, WH, natives (open, junior ridden) SP classes etc this week so far.

The obese cob classes really are the Achilles heel.

It doesn't help the image that these are great hulking beasts with a lot of bone, big deep broad ribs, chests you could drive a bus through and backsides that could stop a tank. And that's before you add the lard on top. They aren't built to be dainty sporthorses to dance in pretty patterns or nimbly hop over big jumps which I do think people forget.

Don't get me wrong, they are usually the fattest of the bunch but there is a lot of basic body structure under the skin.

Oh yes, I appreciate that, but looking closely at RWHS this year, the bulk were obese, over topped by a huge amount and there was a lot of comment outside the ring, in collecting ring etc.
