Has anyone got gloves they rate?
Or I should steer clear of...?

Ive tried thick fleecy ones, XC gloves, neopreme gloves and theyve all been ripped to shreds.
Finn isnt paricularly strong but he leans a bit. Nothing to change a bit over but I idealy want a pair of gloves to last more than one morning...

mountain horse crochet gloves are quite good..once worn in a bit they don't slip too much and are fairly warm.
however i now wear two pairs haha...thin, cheap wooly kids gloves underneath and again just the cheap pimply gloves over them-found that to be warmest as sick of numb fingers and great grip with a strong horse...makes you look like you have rather chubby hands though :D

I wore my Macwets last year, the thicker ones, also I loved my woof wear neoprene backed ones, I had a 3/4 fingered pair which were great because I could still undo the hip flask ;)

Charles Owen / Roeckel Chester gloves (or the chester gold.

http://www.charlesowen.com/en/products/gloves/list.php?p=84

mine last on average 4 seasons (including eventing in the summer) and each time I wash them they come out almost new again.

They look like good fitting leather gloves, and feel like them to an extent. They are quite thin but as I don't get cold hands its not a problem for me. And at approx £20.... can't go wrong!

I agree with pipsqueak - Mountain Horse crochet gloves, they are warm and they have pigskin palms. they do a creamy colour which looks quite nice!
