Can anyone recommend a good back support for riding?

Help! I have horrendous lower back pain and Im in the riding club dressage team in 2 weeks. Im loaded up with anti-inflamms and pain relievers but wondered if a back support may be good for when I get back in the saddle. Just looked on ebay and there seemed to be hundreds, ranging from less than £10 to £30..Anyone got any recommendations?

Might be worth trying a seat saver to absorb some of the impact, on my dressage saddle (which is very soft and new) my back is fine, but on my older GP (which is a bit harder in the seat) I really notice the difference with lower pain if I don't put my seat saver on. Heather Moffat or Acavallo gel ones are best I think

Edited to say, better check if they are dressage legal, think the acavallo gel in might be..

I bought a neoprene one with double pull elastic from lidl when they had them in.
It's quite good and keeps you very warm too. It was made by sensiplast or something...it's black with grey on the inside.
The best thing for my back was a biomechanics riding lesson though. The instructor, Janice Hutchison, immediately found my riding errors were causing the pain and she taught me how to properly engage my core to support things while in the saddle.

eBay have a few supports. You will need double pull to get the tension right and you need it to be washable!

thanks for your ideas. - and washable, I wouldn't have thought of that!! (pretty essential after a schooling session on my lazy girl!!)

Prolite do a fab one that is for the lower back - mine is invaluable in the winter for mucking out. It is a black/blue elasticated support and thin enough to be used under jods etc. If you google prolite hopefully it will come up.
