Goldy/chestnut check one is 'high-neck', blue check one is a 'combo' - both round about a 100 quid I think!
Can get them in both m/w & h/w, comfy, waterproof, non rubbing, fit almost anything but 'v' neck closure ideal for cob types, as they don't get 'strangled' by the front fastening!
My 'boys' all have the blue one! Very impressed with them!
Quite fancy the chestnut ones for FOO & the green ones for LBO, though the green ones have the 'original' neck fitting I think! (Still good though!)
Rambo for a rug thug (if you google it you can get them for under £150 or could last year) Discount saddlery are usually cheaper and Hope Valley usually have good deals on Horseware rugs. If he looks after his rugs then a Rhino although Weatherbeata Arion and Orican are great too and I found them generous for broader horses.
my horse[welsh cobx] lived out last summer with a chaser clip. she wore a weatherbeeta orican high.
was a really nice fit and the neck was very toasty looking! we survived serious snow[almost waist deep] in it..very good rug!
i am a big fan of the weatherbeeta rugs
Amigos are brilliant and great value for money, really recommend them! Weatherbeetas and Roystons are good too, as are Rambos and Fals but they're quite pricey!!
