Hi, I am looking for a riding school between Harrogate to Stamford Bridge area. Somewhere with a good reputation, facilities are a bonus, a reasonable price, and a friendly atmosphere.
I've ridden at Follifoot before but I didn't really like it they seemed more for beginners.
Watched a lesson at Cottage Farm that was done by teenagers on their mobiles and the horses looked half dead in the fields so I wasn't impressed.
Anyone heard of Little Pastures, Naburn, Sicklinghall/hillcroft farm, Lacy's Cottage, Bleach Farm, York Riding School?
Does Becky O'Neil in Appleton roebuck have a riding school?
Anywhere else that you know of?
Thanks

I live in Leeds and haven't heard of any of them apart from Sicklinghall. Unless I'm confusing it with another then it's meant to be quite highly recommended, I think.

The last time I visited Follifoot to present a BHS course they were advertising XC days in their reception so I can't imagine they are just for beginners. It is the only one I know of in the area (I am not from that area) and would recommend it from what I have seen
