hehe! thanks! will keep that im mind as may breed from my mare again.
foal i was worryin about seems to hav sorted herself out ie heat/swelling/lameness drastically reduced within a couple of hrs. was worrying about her growth plates as shes just had a growth spurt! but all seems to be ok now!

Can recommend Charlie Cooke at Minster- has a certificate in Stud Medicine, very very good with foals and (having worked with him) one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
