Can anyone recommend a heat pad?

Hi,

My old boy has a slightly stiff/sore rump and back. My equine masseuse recommends that I put heat on this area prior to picking out his feet or having farrier done, as extended periods of time with his leg up gets uncomfortable for him.

However I am struggling to find a decent, reasonably priced heat source. I bought an extra large hand warmer (one of those ones you pop the silver disc inside and it solidifies and produces instant heat) but its rubbish and doesn't get hot enough. I cant find anything useful online

Any advice you could give, or recommendations of products would be gratefully received!

Not sure if it would work or not but I always used to use snugglesafe heat pads for my little animals (it's about the size of a frisby) and you heat it in the microwave.

Or you could use a hot water bottle if you have a kettle at the yard
