Preferably fairly cheap ones (none of the £100 ones please unless they are the ultimate book)

About anything, health, science, riding, breeding, care, etc?

Thanks in advance

I really like the Sara Wyche books...Understanding the Horse's Back and The Horse's Muscles in Motion.
But they are maybe heavy reading if you're not into muscles...

Well we will be covering muscles as part of our Anatomy lessons so would be a handy book to have.
I have both those books on my list actually!

Are you doing a BSc?

Yep, Equine Sport Science.
Quite a lot on the reading list were very expensive so just going to use those from the libary. If you were going to ask about the reading list

No, I wasn't going to ask about the reading list, just checking what level you were looking for. It's not a book...but there's a very good CD-Rom called Under the Horse's Skin made by Warwickshire College...which has points of the horse, skeleton, muscles, all the systems...with interactive 'games'.
In the past, when I've used it for lectures, students have loved it. If memory serves it's about £30 but well worth it...and would be useful for the anatomy aspects of your degree...to help understanding.

I need as much help as possible when it comes to this subject!!! Can't help but want to go to sleep when it comes to this lesson - not because of the subject but the tutor
