A friend has recently moved to the area around Sole Street. She is looking for part time/assisted grass turnout with some shelter for her two large well behaved horses. The option of stabling would be nice if available. One of the horses is permanently turned away due to injury and the other is intermittantly sound, so now more of a happy hacker.

Can anybody recommend a nice yard/farm within reasonable travelling distance of that area? At present, they are in two different places, doubling her workload. She is really nice and the sort of person that would be an asset to any yard.

All suggestions welcome.

Ta :)

You could try Holywell Park at Hodsell Street, I am not sure if they do resting horses but it is worth a try. The head girl is Sam Cotter.

Thank you for your replies, I will tell her about them. She hasn't tried anywhere yet as she is new to the area and didn't quite know where to start. I offered to ask on here a you lot are a font of knowledge and I am always waxing lyrical to her about the power of Horse and Hounders! :D

Any further suggestions will be gratefully received. :)

This would be my suggestion too. When I moved to the area I found somewhere on the ad board in Speedgate saddlery but I have since heard good things about Holywell Park via a friend who has a loan horse there.
