Have a look at Coop - same underwriters as Petplan but quite literally quarter of the price for my large dog. Petplan wanted £88 a month and Coop was £20 odd. I've had 2 claims, about £450 paid quickly and easily last year and the renewal price was £26pm. This is lifetime insurance.

Third claim is going through now and is likely to hit the £5k limit.

I am with Sainsburys - again, same underwriter as Petplan similar cover - you choose the level that suits you yet half the price, and I get a decent amount of Nectar points too.

We’re with pet plan, but they are very expensive. Anyone recommend any others please?

Make sure you read the small print on all especially Kbis as they exclude many things if you treat injury after vet or vet currently treating and it goes wrong.

I use SEIB been with them many years, don't touch E@L unless you have time to kill more like years to kill trying to make a claim.
