As title please, I've just bought a new to me box which is old, I want to give it a good going over before my horse goes anywhere near it, but also don't want to be ripped off by an unscrupulous mechanic that will tell me oooooh you need a new x or y oh and z at £££.
I think they see me coming
So if anyone could recommend me a decent mechanic who is honest and not going to take me for a ride it would be appreciated.
Or ones to avoid if necessary?
Anywhere in the north west really, ideally North Cheshire, merseyside, lancs, or manc areas but for a decent one im willing to travel.
