A really good mud busting brush to use on a tickleish, unclipped grey bog pony with a coat like a polar bear!

I have one I refer to as 'the sproingy thing' It is two circles of metal with teeth held together with a spring between the rings, sort of like a metal curry comb. It is fantastic at getting mud off hairy beasts, and just as good at getting out winter coats too. Even my delicate Hackney cross loves a good scrub with it! No idea what it is actually called tho!!!

we have a fantastic dandy brush from robbies called a 'dirty beastie' brush.

A shedding blade works wonders on a long coat, though you will need to brush off the dust after.
