...........a good easy book about training a lab gundog? This will be our first attempt at training our dog and we would like an easy to follow book to help us. We have plenty of friends that have trained their own dogs with success but would like to have something to refer to. Any tips?

No book recommendations I'm afraid but there are plenty of training classes which do gundog training as well as obedience
good luck - its very fun and very frustrating! (We trained our GSD and our Goldie!)
