Either a middle or heavyweight turnout rug with a detachable belly wrap or better still just a belly wrap?

Just would like to add a bit of warmth when she's clipped - I know I'm probably being a soft but don't want to have to keep clipping her over winter.

Thanks
:)

I used to have a Weatherbeata Taka Heavyweight turnout rug that had a built in belly flap. Although i don't like the fit of WB rugs i did think it was quite a nifty idea

clipping is goverened by daylight hours not warmth. though if you didnt rug your clipped horse it would grow back faster. any normal warm rug suitable for the winter/ winter temps will keep your clip at bay. so rug accordingly to your local temps, feed plenty fibre and you should get 6 weeks betweeen clips. up to 9 weeks if you dont mind the tatty look. most hunters have had their 3rd clip by now...
