My YO clips my horse atm but hers are dying a bit so ive decided i better get my own as my horse is really good being clipped but being a youngster and a bit impatient i can see things going a bit wrong. He's a lightweight 15.2TB so don't have to be heavy duty clippers as he has fine coat and he only gets a small clip but has rather a lot of fur! Any suggestions as there are loads out there!!!

I have a pair of Lister Star clippers, have been really pleased with them- they have worked better than some of the more expensive ones. The blades last for ages without going blunt and they haven't overheated either.

Also can recommend Heineger Handy Clippers as had a pair of them in the past too.
