Can anyone tell me which breed this is???

Hello all,

I am among other things a blogger. I live in a vilage in a rural part of the Netherlands so when walking the dogs I see plenty of horses. Today I passed a field with four very elegant horses who seemed very interested in my Deerhound (the terrier and me were of less interest). I blogged about it today and am very curious about the breed because I haven't seen them before I think. Mostly it's icelandics and fjord horses I see.

Young warmbloods, by the elegance and prettiness I would guess probably oldenburg, but I dont claim to have anything other than a fleeting knowledge of warmbloods (read the signature) They are very pretty though.

they look to me like trotters - trotting is quite popular in Holland I think.

Thank you very much for all your reactions. I think the concensus is warmbloods. Now I'll try to find out what that is in Dutch, but I'll manage. They look lovely horses and very cheeky. Although I have a Jack Russell Terrier so 'cheeky' is only a dull day with me, I'm used to worse ;-)

The brown one (second form left) was the one capturing the eye of my Deerhound the most. They nuzzled a little. Maybe something going on there...

@ stacieb21jed: Haha, although we have a very permissive society here in the Netherlands I think horsebreeders secretly still lynch horse thieves. The Dutch are a weird sort in that way.

ps. I also wrote a post about my sister's puppy who stayed over the other day. We had four dogs in the house that weekend. Interesting experience. I post every day on my blog but that day nearly entered history as the first I didn't ;-)
