Can Cair be replaced with flock??

Can cair be taken out of a saddle and be replaced with flock? Is it easy enough for a saddler to do?

If so, how much approx for a full flock of a saddle when cair has been removed?

I don't know how much it is to have it done but a girl on our yard has a saddle that has been changed. She's also tried to sell the saddle but no one is interested as it's been 'messed about with'.

I don't know about Cair but I had a saddler offer to replace my Flair with flock and quoted me £60. I would presume Cair is the same thing.

I have one which has had flock added to the cair, can't remember how much it was but it's lasted really well, 5 years and still going strong.

well Cair is foam + air right? I'm sure they could flock it...

just had some wool added to my cair, it just adjusts the air, the same way that extra flocking would do.
It can be taken out again if needed.
