Cor blimey...you should have seen the rain/hale/thunder storms at the yard tonight.
For weeks we've been turning out on crispy dust but yesterday and especially tonight i thought we were going to get washed away!!!
Luckily for me i just got mine in as a few rumbles of thunder were heard in the distance, just about to leave and the air pressure dropped so much my ears popped and it was like someone tipped a bath of water off the roof. It threw it down and then hale. Some bits were the size of golf balls!!!
My youngster nearly jumped out of his stable but the old boy just kept on munching hay as if it was a spring shower!!!
It lasted about 5 mins and as quick as it started, it stopped and the sun came out...as if nothing had happened!!!
So thank you to everyone who has been doing a rain dance or singing at the top of their voices...it worked, we are now wet...maybe just do a jig for a few days and hum under your breath until we need the rain again!!!
