Hi, my boy is being sedated in the morning so we can get his teeth done. Is it ok if he has a small breakfast about 45 mins before?

I always do and never been a problem. I wouldn't feed too soon after sedation though. I have to with my boy as he would get worked up if he didn't get his feed and therefore wouldn't stand to be sedated!!

We've run out of hay now so he won't have any of that. Il give him a small token feed about an hour before then, I'm sure it won't hurt, and he'l go nuts if the others get fed and he doesn't.

All 5 of mine had their teeth done this morning and were fed as usual ( normal feed ) They were brought in from the field ,so had been grazing before hand.

I always wait for an hour or so before allowing them out to the field. I have never had a problem at all They also have a very small very wet feed before they are turned out just to see if there is a problem.
