I have been given a brace of pheasants (from my vegan shooting friend!) and am currently looking forward to some delicious pheasant meals....but can Bruce have raw pheasant wings / carcasses - he is on a raw diet already, and I assume he can have pheasant - or is this not a good idea?

Many thanks
Tamsin

Vegan shooting friend??? Isn't that a oxymoron??

However on the pheasant front, as long as shot is out, I just chucked it at my dogs, I get most of mine as roadkill for the dogs lol. The shot stuff is mine :)

Sorry BC I would rather do 10 pheasant than 1 chicken ergh or fish ergh.

Put off for life when my uncle dragged myself and my brother into help draw and pluck his shot pheasants when very young...

Thanks for the replies........I thought it'd be OK, but wanted to check anyway.... as there is only one of me and the dog, and there is only so much pheasant I can eat, Bruce will be getting pheasant with hos chicken for the next few days.

As for my vegan shooting friends...... I can't get my head around it either, but am not complaingin as I get their share of the bag!

I work somewhere that has a shoot and they always just leave their rabbits and pigeons as apparently nobody wants them. I always thought about giving them to my boys but was always worried about the shot.
