As the title says really?
I have a sensitve cribber/ windsucker ive been adviced not to feel any cereal or sugar based feeds inc sugarbeet. So.... do u think it will be ok to feed grazon dryed grass to replace chop and grazon grass pallets soaked to replace sugarbeet???

No reason why not, but you can get low sugar sugarbeet - the beet itself is what is left after the sugar has been removed, and they add molasses to replace some of the sugars (no idea why!!). Look for unmollassed beet - Speedybeet or Simple Systems Purabeet are just 2, and perfectly safe for sugar sensitive horses. It contains more fibre too which is important for a healthy digestion. My TB with an ulcer had Speedybeet, grass nuts and plenty of decent haylage (the hay or haylage is far more important, forms the main component of the diet, any bucket feeds are just the icing on the cake).

Yes, we had to feed our oldie dried grass chaff with her soaked grassnuts, so that she didn't choke. We also gave her soaked Speedibeet, which I had also found very useful for a severely sugar-intolerant mare.
