I make waterproof synthetic tack, I've done a few bits and bobs with hi viz material (bridle linings and dog collars mostly) but my supplier has got in more width choices and I am tempted by making some bridles completely out of hi viz material.
The bridles will be made from biothane (which is the same as Zilco material for those who know what that's like), they will be waterproof, and easy clean (run under a tap or wipe with a damp sponge) and the hi viz colours I can get are yellow, pink and orange. I can get the orange with reflective stripe as well.
Do you think these would be something people would be interested in? (aimed mostly at people hacking out over winter, and with the horrible accident that happened locally recently I'd like to help at making people and their horses as visible as possible)
I'm thinking of breastplates and reins as well to make horses extra visible.
